Measure the approximate length, width, and height of your pile in feet. Multiply those three measurements, then divide the result by 27 to convert cubic feet into cubic yards.
Length × Width × Height ÷ 27 = Cubic Yards
If your pile contains bulky or irregularly shaped items, round up slightly to account for empty space between items.
